Inside the scanner, a light source is slowly sliding from side to side and continually capturing a thin line, and eventually combining the recorded fragments into one image. This gives the opportunity to capture movements. The recording of movement reveals a distortion of matter.
With the help of memory, what you have just seen overlaps with what you saw the moment before. Memory helps forming the sense of time, the impression of space amids the emerging and the past.
Memory is not a matter of the past but recreates the past each time it is invoked
